Ayurvedic Marma Therapist

Balancing Tridoshas — Vatha, Pitta & Kabha

Sankar Kavirajan comes from a family with deep roots in traditional Ayurvedic practice. He trained in Kerala, India — the primary centre for this ancient healing system — and has since built a distinctive massage methodology that combines Ayurvedic principles with Kalarippayattu, the traditional healing art derived from Kerala’s martial arts.

With 25+ years of experience and 12 years of practice in London, Sankar is qualified to perform the full range of Panchakarma procedures — vamana, virechana, vasti, nasya, rakthamokshana, snehana and swedana.

The Ancient Science

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a timeless system of natural medicine, refined over more than 3,000 years. Meaning “the knowledge of life,” it is a holistic approach that nurtures harmony between body, mind, and environment.

Every individual is unique, shaped by the balance of the three Doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—which arise from the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether.

Your personal constitution (Prakruti) defines your natural state of balance. When this harmony is maintained, you experience vitality and ease; when disrupted, imbalance may arise. Ayurveda restores this balance through personalised therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance tailored specifically to you.

Deep Cleansing & Rejuvenation

Panchakarma

Panchakarma is Ayurveda’s most sophisticated programme of deep cleansing and rejuvenation, designed to purify the body and restore inner balance.

Each programme is thoughtfully tailored and unfolds in three distinct phases:

Preparation

Purva Karma

Nourishing oil therapies and gentle steam treatments prepare the body by loosening and mobilising impurities.

Core Therapies

Pradhana Karma

A carefully selected combination of specialised treatments works at a profound level to eliminate imbalances and restore harmony.

Restoration

Paschat Karma

A guided recovery phase incorporating personalised diet, lifestyle practices, and supportive therapies to rebuild strength, clarity, and long-term well-being.

A refined approach to healing—designed to restore balance, elevate vitality, and support lasting wellness.
